Three mechanics that confuse new players
Kills do not pay out
Gold and XP settle when you clear the stage, not per kill. Several launch reviews read this as a bug. It is in the store description.
It earns while closed
The store page states offline catch-up runs up to 8 hours. The matching achievement ACH_OFFLINE_FIRST shows a 5.7% global completion rate (2026-08-27).
Five elements, four mitigation layers
Physical, Fire, Cold, Lightning, Chaos. Damage passes through dodge, block, damage reduction, then armor.
Gear & crafting
400+ pieces across 8 grades and 12 slots. Only three grade names are confirmed so far — the rest are marked TBA rather than guessed.
